Seems unlikely because of the impracticality (it's too tough to get everybody together in the time available and for other logistical reasons) but Northern Illinois going bowling isn't out of the question.

The AutoNation Cure Bowl between Central Florida and Arkansas State is on the CBS Sports Network at 5:30 Eastern (Rockets just can't avoid Arkansas State)

And this doesn't involve a UT opponent, but if you're like me and worry about the start of a UT game on ESPN being switched to a different ESPN channel or not being seen at all, there's a bowl game on ESPN at 2 Eastern. The Gildan New Mexico Bowl between New Mexico and Texas-San Antonio: I'm hoping for no overtime, few or no official reviews and two or three 8-minute drives. Along with anything else that might move the game along.

Tulsa got a pick 6 a few minutes ago. It's 55-3 and the announcers have been talking about Ohio State the past few minutes.

Ohio can't get past Troy. 28-23. MAC loses another one.

So--so far, MAC teams can't get past Troy, Old Dominion, Tulsa, or Appalachian State.

The takeaway from this is not encouraging. Not encouraging at all.
