Whenever I see guys that played for the Huskies excelling after not being drafted, it makes me wonder how we didn't use them better. Injuries were his problem though.

I loved watching Tommylee play for the Huskies. He seemed to play the game with a sense of joy. I will always remember seeing him on the sidelines at the Purdue game, before the game headphones on dancing around and giving his teammates high fives. I also remember turning to a Purdue fan next to me and telling him to tell his coach not to kick off to him. They did kick it to him and he took it to the house. What a pleasure it was to watch him play while he was healthy. Good luck to him, I hope his body can hold up to the pounding in the NFL.

The Saints are using Lewis just like NIU did. I'm not sure what else you think he should've been doing. Guys that are under 170 pounds don't get drafted very often.

He did score a 2 point XP on a jet sweep in one of the exhibition games for N.O.

People were upset with our limited play selection last season but a lot of that had to do with injuries and the fact that late in the season our QBs had difficulty throwing downfield.

We used the jet sweep and bubble screen a lot even before the injuries. Opposing Ds were getting quite used to it. Must have been a Cole favorite. We shall see this year. If we see it frequently again, then we know it comes from the top.

Injuries were the issue. He was on fire the first game of the year at home before getting tackled and bending his knee backwards. Then he lit up Toledo in the first half before injuring his knee again.
