I also admire Nigel....It does not bother me in the slightest. In fact...Im not surprised. The very things that Nigel has railed against are what Trump rails against...just not as eloquently as Farage does. Trump should sit down and get a few lessons from him.

It makes sense. They both fought hard against the bad effects of unrestricted immigration. They both want as little red tape as possible in trade relations between the US and UK. Gary Johnson still hasn't hit 15%.

Gary Johnson is for open borders and continuing one-sided trade agreements that hurt us. I tend to agree with him on tax issues, can live with his domestic agenda, and frankly think we could use a term or two of military isolationism, but Trump is much closer to Nigel Farage on the issues or borders, language, and culture.

Aside from the hardliners in the Libertarian Party (many of whom you wouldn't recognize if I tossed out the names) nobody is advocating for open borders like we have in Europe.

Gary Johnson does want much more legal immigration and an easy work visa system though.
