Sure. NIU has the best AD in the country, he is working tirelessly to advance the agenda of NIU, and he sure as hell gets me jacked up for the future.

He really does a great job of getting me at least pumped up about the future, and I really think he's primed to to do great things for NIU, if not he's the best Gentlemen Bastard I've met, read the book to get the reference.

I'm not "in the know" on anything here. I made that comment before even watching the video. After watching it, everything i speculated on about the funds seems true. Where's the haters who called me out on the state budget impasse excuse being bogus? I want my apology you jerks!

Great interview, Frazier is definitely a gem we need to hang onto for as long as we can. I also like the background music.

He is trying to be very clear/steady/mellow to highlight the motivated/animated Frazier

I don't think the state budget issue is going to be rectified anytime soon. There are major hurdles and issues regarding Illinois' economics and neither parties can agree to a solution. At what point do you say that we can no longer wait for the state to get its politics in order and NIU must move forward to announce its first athletic project?

Nothing will be done till after the election. The Legislation punted when they did an interim budget through January. this was done because voters don't realize that a tax increase is right around the corner. The incumbents want to get re-elected.

But would other schools blink an eye? Keep in mind, this could be a major revenue changing opportunity.

If the initial announcement was for a smaller upgrade to soccer field or something else, then he might make it but if it is a $40 million dollar renovation of the stadium, it looks bad that we have money for athletics but not for education.

SO 11/8 is the election and they are back in session 11/15 - 11/17 then 11/29-12/1 and that's it for the year. What the chances they get something passed and the Gov signs it by then?

Nothing political...just what are the chances?



I am also finding it curious now as to the B12 saying that they will make their decision in December before Christmas.
