Even if it is authentic, its clearly not a Big XII document. It is a report prepared by a consultant for a university considering pursuing BigXII conference membership.

There is a lot of evidence to support Northern Illinois University to the Big XII. NIU is a big school. It is not too far from Iowa State. O'Hare, as a hub, makes transportation easier.

NIU has a beautiful basketball arena. The football stadium can grow. NIU has a large alumni network and graduate schools located around the Chicago suburbs (Hoffman Estates, Naperville, etc...).

I work with real professional consultants. I know what their work product looks like.

This does not look like that. Its not very professional.

More likely he looked at a map and went with the 2 closest schools to WVU not in Texas. Any idiot could've done that. Not to mention, at the same time he looked at a map and magically came up with Cincy and Memphis, he also started banging on the "UCONN to the ACC" drum.
