RE: Shemar Johnson off the team
From what I've heard, its academic related. However, there could be more to it than just that.

If you are going to be a problem continuously, you don't deserve to play D1 ball. That's probably what happened here.

RE: Shemar Johnson off the team
Here's a look at the 12 players returning without Johnson. There are some significant weight gains posted. In rough order of size/position:

7' 245 Peter Jurkin
6'9 230 Hanner Mosqueira-Perea
6'7 235 Isaac Banks
6'8 220 Tevin Glass
6'6 200 David Burell
6'2 205 A.J. Merriweather
6'4 190 Desonta Bradford
6'3 195 T.J. Cromer
6'3 175 Jermaine Long
6'2 175 Devontavius Payne
5'11 185 Jason Williams
5'10 175 Julian Walters

Any chance of someone walking on? Transfer?

RE: Shemar Johnson off the team
I'd like to see a transfer from another D-1 school that's still available, even if he has to sit out a year. Just a shot in the dark but I noticed Forbes and Savage recently starting following Cornelius Hudson, a Wake Forest transfer that hasn't signed anywhere yet. He'd be a great addition but no idea how much interest there is with him.

I think Hudson would be a major acquisition - he averaged 8, 3, 1.5 (p,r,a) last season as a sophomore at Wake.

I agree. I'm actually surprised he hasn't signed anywhere yet. He was dismissed from Wake way back in February, so maybe there is a good reason he isn't somewhere else. With classes already started at ETSU, what is the latest date we could get someone?
