AAC Football Predictions
It is that time of the year again! (Thank God) The AAC is really interesting at the top this year. With Houston having a shot at the playoffs. USF proved last season they are a legit threat. Temple continues to improve.
Who is your sleeper this season?

My preview: AAC Preview
Last year we had the most accurate preview according to Stassen. (with some luck maybe we do it again)

Good work.
One slight correction, Pro Kick Australia grad Dane Roy is in line for the punting duties. If you still want to call it a question mark, that's fine, but I assume you weren't aware of him since you didn't mention him.

3-9? You lost your mind. 4 of our losses last year were by 7 or less with a 3rd string QB and a converted WR being rotated with no logic. 5 of the 7 we should have won.

Wow. VERY impressive. I would love to see USF have a 10 win season. I doubt Temple is going to be as good as you predict. Also love seeing UCF still sucking.

I think UCF might not win that much but they have to look much better on O this season.

Tough road conference schedule. I could see three conf. wins but went with two.

Id be interested in getting your opinion on the RayJay. Just finished a $150 million upgrade, hosting the CFB championship game this season and seats 65,000. College kids love playing in an NFL stadium because 95% of them will never have a chance in the NFL.
Do you think the B12 likes it? In contrast UCF plays in an OCS but it only seats 40,000, is all aluminum bleachers, has no water fountains, and cost like $10 million to build.

I'm more bullish on Temple than last year.
Having USF at home is huge.

agree to vehemently disagree. Oh, we ain't losing to State. I see us as 50/50 with South Carolina and VT. Bud Foster had no answers for us last year or the year before. Tusla? No justification for that one. Cinci will be a dog fight, USF will be a dog fight, but we screwed the pooch against them last year, same with Temple and UConn. We changed coaches for reason. We should have won all those games. USF, Cincinnati, UConn, USF, BYU, and yes UF. You question the QB position, yet our QB is a proven starter at the P5 level, not a Juccu transfer forced into the role 2 weeks before the season stated with another Juccu transfer having to from WR to QB. Bet you didn't factor in James Summers at WR and other positions on the offense this year, or Brunson at H-back or our absolutely stack RB position with a Tenn transfer and Cal transfer. our offense will move the ball and score.

Hats off for putting this together. That's a lot of info to have to sort through.
I'm not gonna lie, I like the Tulsa love. I'm gonna be nit-picky about one thing though. Golden Hurricane is singular, not plural. Just for future reference. No worries though. You're not the first one to mix it up and you won't be the last.

You may be more of a homer than TripleA, if that's even possible.

Last year we had the most accurate preview according to Stassen. (with some luck maybe we do it again)

Little Debbie's Psychological Advantage Bowl, ECU is not going to lose to State at home new coach or not. Another State head coach has his contract terminated at the end of the season as a result. We should put an FSU style grave yard somewhere for all of the State coaches that have been fired for losing to us.

Sleeper: I would say USF but it seems they are no longer sleeping. So I will go with Memphis. I feel like people are writing them off because they lost their coach and QB, but they have some good players returning. I think their defense will be a bit more consistent than last year. And on offense they have some nice skill position players. As long as the new QB doesn't turn it over they will have a chance to win 8 or 9 games again.
Conference standings prediction:
East: USF, Temple, Cincy, ECU, Uconn, UCF
West: UH, Memphis, Navy, Tulsa, SMU, Tulane
Champs: UH
The only spot I am not sure about is Uconn and ECU.

Playing in a leased stadium off campus will never match the camaraderie of an on-campus atmosphere where alumni and fans tailgate and come together while your campus is showcased to tens of thousands of people and national audiences on television. Look at Pitt, Miami, and even your own situation. It just doesn't compare.
This is a shot of our athletics village on campus showcased on ESPN Primetime to a national TV audience. You can't buy that type of exposure for your campus.

Prove my statements wrong. Where was I wrong on any of the games last year? Where I'm I wrong on returning talent? 4 games lost by 7 points or less and plenty of coaching mistakes made in those games and we lacked a true FBS starting QB the entire year. Homer or not you haven't disproven a single point.
