Stroh's is Back
Stroh's Bohemian Style Pilsner brewed in Detroit and is available to the rest of Michigan. Maybe there is hope!

RE: Stroh's is Back
If you read, that's not the Stroh's brew of old.

We were so happy when they moved, because they were local we felt compelled to support. Once they decided to crap on their biggest market, we immediately switched to beer we liked around all of Detroit Metro.

Anyone remember Dick The Bruiser's "After the Brewery on Gratiot was gone" sung to Henley's "Boy's of Summer"?

Also "96 Beers"- "Too many beer drops for one man to be drinking." to "96 Tears"-Question Mark and the Mysterians.

I know the voice of RTB retired, does JJ still do radio in that market? Been gone a while, FM radio in that area had a LOT of personality back in the day. Met a dude in Arizona wearing an old "Rock Dog" WABX shirt.

I told him to go home, take it off, wash it gently and frame it.

W4 - Howard Stern. Doug Podell said he looked like Big Bird his first day. He quit on the air when they abruptly went country. Turned up HUGE a few years later back east.

Nice ice cold Vernor from a thick glass bottle. Icy vapor coming from the just popped top. Carbonated golden goodness. Made a great float and ice cream bar.

Couldn't resist. You grooved that one right over the middle of the plate.

Before coach double talk brought his second grade slogans to WMU, RTB meant Richard T Bruiser around the D.

I'll drink a Stroh's. I actually had a couple this past weekend. But give me a few Natty Lights, and I'm even more happy.

Nothing says good cheap beer & good cheap women than Natty Light. Good times, good times.

I also had a Stroh's last weekend. They're $2 at my local faux-dive.
