Never going to happen. No P5 school is ever going to agree to a plan that has them potentially earning 35 million one year and just 3 million the next. Their budgets are based on making 35 million and that wont change if they get relegated. It would be a financial disaster for those schools. Never going to happen----Not in a million years.

Yeah. Relegate the team that made a bowl game and took it to a P5 school (VT) and made it to the NCAA tourney. Smart. How about we relegate Bearcats#1 to the MAC board.

I've earned my way up...was a troll on an D2 board for a year, then FCS, then Sun Belt....now in the AAC lookin' to move up to the P5. Maybe go NFL one day.

About right. Been a long journey for Cincy. Easy win for so many teams over the years. All the old metro independent days. and national independents love to get Cincy on the schedule. We always liked to schedule Cincy for a breather game. In between playing The southern powers. Still kind of like that....

It would have to be a credit system based on a 10 year window. Even then, you'd likely need a supermajority to pass such a thing and every P5 conference has enough Purdue's and Wake Forest's to block it.

In front of all those massive crowds in the SuperDome cleverly dressed up as empty seats... If a tree falls in the forrest but nobody is there to hear it, did it make a noise?
