Spoon's son attending USM

theres a picture on this guys twitter.

does he play basketball at all? bet he could play some football somewhere. looks pretty big. actually, kind of hard to tell how tall he is. spoons about 6'5 (though advertised as 6'7 I think). id say his son looks at least 6'2, but that means that woman is 6'1, so who knows.

Given the number of USM alumni who send their kids to State and Ole Miss, it's good to see one, especially a high profile alumnus, send his kid to Southern Miss.

beers ain't gonna sing past a 12-pack on this board regardless how he digs his snout into that sand...

that boy has issues he cannot get past...

it's a great story to see the son of a former Southern Miss standout (much less an NBA player that was loved in Philly of all places) choose the path of his father.....

that's a proud day for our 'family' and theirs too!

I may have to eat crow on this one....

I keep thinking what so many wish for in reason....

I deserve a spanking if this is the truth....

...yeti cooler is still waiting for the "facts" now....

that's 'almost' fair NG...however, am still waiting for that linky that tells the tale of the "scholly" portion...

this isn't ep on any level.....some of us 'heathens' can come with it too...

Wonder if Spoon's son is one of the scholarship losses from the sanctions? Now that Spoon is coaching his son gets some type of tuition waiver (or at least employee's kids did at one point). Also the article mentioned he was All-Academic so that would cover some more of the "lost" scholarship. Sounds like a win win situation as he can help with wins and team GPA

He would be eligible for a 50% tuition waiver as the child of an employee. Room and board would be full rate.
