I'm pretty sure the only school in CUSA that has an IPF (Indoor Practice Facility) or IAF (Indoor Athletic Complex) is Marshall at the moment. You can't get any better than Marshall's IAF and Sports Medicine complex. There is everything you need to rehab in there. The team DRs are also located there so anytime you need a doctor one isn't far away.

As mentioned earlier Rice doesn't need an indoor facility because we are allowed to use the Texans facility 2 miles away whenever we need it. No point wasting money.

Impressive facility Marshall. Next up for us after we finish the new pressbox & suites in an IPF and I hope we put in one as nice as yours and the one WKU has planned.

Truthfully I don't know how you put one together wrong unless your admin are just so cheap that they cut corners everywhere.

I can remember when Mike Hamrick (Marshall AD) got to Marshall in 2009, he was honest and refreshing. He said at the time our facilities were lacking as in not even there or needing renovated. Since Hamrick got on campus Marshall has spent 47 million dollars on new facilities and renovations. My hope the next 2 big things done is a baseball stadium and a replacement for the Cam Henderson Center.

That is true. Under Hamrick we went from being "Middle of the road" in term of facilities to now having the best facilities in CUSA.

I just hope we replace The Cam before Hamrick leaves office. The Cam was never built right and the original contractors walked off the job because the state pulled 8 million dollars away from it to help build EAR field.

I didn't realize the Cotton Bowl was owned by Rice. Pretty cool.

We have an indoor facility. It's called the Alamodome.

The Cotton Bowl is owned by the City of Dallas, so I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about (unless the joke/sarcasm is totally flying over my head).

However, Rice DID own Yankee Stadium from 1962 to 1971.

Since when did we not have a baseball stadium to play in? Seriously? Its the only facility we don't own and its not on campus (35 minutes away) but the park we play in is arguably the best in CUSA.

35 minutes?! You are smoking something.

APP is 51 minutes from Huntington per Google and was at least an hour in actual time the last time I made that trip

If he lives in Barboursville or Milton, it is about 35 minutes.

You could make that trip in 35-40 minutes.
