Yeah we are here today to announce that Texas Baptist is the newest member of the Big XII. Just because it is in Waco and has the same buildings doesn't mean it is the same school. This is totally different.

"Hopefully, it's a teaching moment and a learning experience for him."

Can you train someone not to be a sociopath?

Stopped in Waco for lunch on my way to Dallas and heard some Baylor students saying this is ESPN and Texas trying to knock Baylor down yet again

Funny how the Link in the OP is about how Dennis Dodd thinks the Baylor's football team will do this year. No mention of the Player abusing his pet anywhere in the video. 03-shhhh

Yeah. It's someone else's fault. Just like it's the Republicans' fault for Michael Vick getting caught doing the same thing and worse to several dogs. 01-wingedeagle

There are many things that can be credibly pinned on ESPN and UT. This, however, is not one of them.

Look, pretty much every FBS program has had head cases on their teams. Happens sometimes.

But if a program has too many blowups, then it can point towards a problem with the leadership of the school and the athletic program.

I can think of a lot worse. As disturbing as this video is, it was still just a dog.

Still a living creature than can feel pain and can't be explained to why it is enduring said pain either...

I agree - like I said, it's disturbing.

But not nearly as disturbing as when this (or worse) is done to fellow human beings. And it happens every single day in nearly every city in America.

Why do you have to compare this cruelty to some other cruelty? It's just plain bad and the player needs to be sent to counseling along with whatever discipline/punishment they hand out.
