I think its probably just random. But its sparked a lot of debate among the crazier fans. I'm posting it because its still the off-season and I'm bored.

Seems to be just wishful thinking putting UH and UCF helmets with the Big 12 teams. With the Big 12 stating they are looking to expand, all teams are getting hopes up with Big XII logo's...etc.

Just a helmet collection. ECU has something similar in our equipment office I believe.

Pretty much everyone does this. The equipment managers swap gear with other programs all the time and then put them on display in the locker rooms.

I think anything more sane than thinking Jon Gruden is signaling which college job he's taking via his tie selection probably no longer counts as crazy in college football.

You can tell 'em AState is going to be the new NFL franchise for St. Louis because our equipment guys had a Rams helmet via their equipment guy before the move to LA came about. So it was all pre-planned that the Rams would vacate to create a spot for the Red Wolves.

Maybe by putting their helmets near the helmets of schools that won a game last year, they to will win one.
