Event Details

Kick off fall with some great food and the company of your fellow Huskies! We'll gather in the tap room at Lagunitas Brewing Co. in Chicago for beef sliders, chicken tacos and market salads.

Beer will be $5, and all proceeds from beer purchases will be donated to NIU to help fund needs, such as scholarships and programs. Funds will be directed to areas with the greatest need.

Registration is $10 and closes Friday, Sept. 9.

Nice. I started buying the Lagunitas IPA when I found out an NIU alum owned the company. Great beer.

You are technically an alum of a school whether or not you graduate from the school as long as you attended at some point.

For however long he was at NIU, he definitely earned a "Little Sumpin' Sumpin' "........

If he makes a big donation I'll give him my degree, although he'd probably want a higher GPA.
