IF only most of our bosses felt the same way..

When I played in high school we had a coach, Buddy Crosby, who would run wind sprints with us after practice. It really encouraged us young guys to work hard. He went on to become a successful head coach at Jackson Calloway and later at Jackson Prep.

I like that Hopson leads by example.

This comment is funnier when you realize that our university hired a real estate agent to be the conditioning coach at one point.

Great example of leadership.

On top of that, we need to do anything we can to keep our S&C coach. His work has improved us immensely. Having a top-notch S&C program won't guarantee you success, but NOT having one pretty much prevents it.

Agreed. S&C coaches are critical to all football programs, but especially for a program like ours that recruits so many "projects" that have to be developed. Much of that development involves putting on 20-30 pounds of muscle while preserving speed and agility. If we have to pay a premium for our S&C coach, we should.

All we really need is to kick a soccer ball around and take a couple steroids. Don't know what you guys are getting so worked up about.
