I can't seem to find any reference to a "Helmet #1" on his twitter, but since we've been practicing with the Matte Blue State helmets I'm going to guess it's that.

To be honest, I don't like it a lot. I've never really been a fan of any of the all white ODU helmets, and this isn't really different. What I'm worried about is that they're replacing the 3-tone helmet with this one since it seems like "Helmet #3" will be a new reveal as well. I hope not because that'd be a pretty big downgrade in my opinion.

I like the "blue sparkle" to it, it doesn't look as plain as our old white helmets

Yeah, but I don't think that'll be visible in the stands at all. It'll probably just look like a normal white helmet for fans watching the game.

In my mind, the 3 tone helmet is #1 gameday. The all blue (state logo) I've seen in all the practice photos.

I actually like the all white with blue face mask... the sparkles are cool too.

Nothing wrong with that helmet. Hope they didn't ditch the 3-tone though.

More pictures, looks like it'll include the split blue stripe down the middle, like the ones on our matte-blue ones.

I think the helmet looks cool. Just never been a fan of the chefs hat thing, but I don't want start that debate again.

That's a clean looking helmet

Very nice. looks very high tech to me.

It's OK. I have never been a fan of any all white helmets. I do like it better than the Robocop helmet.

ODU's white helmets have all been rather lackluster and dull.

I like it...looks similar to the white and blue one we had with TH when we wore the blue jersey with white pants

I like the split stripe better than just an all white but I like the robocop helmet personally and hope it comes back.

Coach Whitcombe shared a helmet with a different looking stripe on instagram. It may be the angle but that looks like a single stripe to me;

That is definitely a different helmet.

It does have the blue specks of paint on it though. Maybe they tried different stripes just to see what looked best.

I like them. Maybe I'm just finally getting used to the chefs hat/puffycrown/hampton coliseum, but these helmets look pretty good to me.

It's a different helmet but the same scheme. Players have multiple style helmets they can choose from. The angle makes it look like a single stripe, but it's the double like the earlier pics.

It's the same helmet with the same "snake tongue" stripe. It's just the angle. If it was a single stripe it would end where it says "AIM HIGH" but it's off to the side. You can see the other side of the stripe of you look hard enough

I like it. Do we know anything about this alternative uni were supposed to have this year?
