Sounds like a great opportunity for Ingram to be AD at his alma mater!

Still need Ray Watts fired first. Don't want him picking a successor. No doubt Ingram will only be here long enough to build up his resume. Unless he gets a better boss to work for.

It's TennesseeTech who helps UAB by hiring our AD's that the fans don't want, not Tennessee

RE: SBR: Tennesse AD to Retire
I know UAB is probably due a lot of good fortune/karma for what we've had to put up with...

But the odds of us having another miracle a la McGee bolting for Louisville are probably astronomical.

Somehow I don't see the current AD doing enough to get a better option.

I would see him bolting to be able to stay as an AD somewhere.

Since he's been here UAB Football has been brought back from death, a new downtown stadium is being seriously worked on, a new football operations and practice facility is being built, UAB and Auburn re-established a basketball series, Birmingham hosted the C-USA Tournament a second time (and will be hosting a 3rd time in a row in 2017), and the UAB Softball field will be getting some nice upgrades.

Yes and Ingram should receive ALL the credit. We should be shouting it from the rooftops.

RE: SBR: Tennesse AD to Retire
Saw a tweet mentioning Ingram being 1 of 3 candidates that has Tennessee ties.

Of course, he can't remember the tie, but that is for another discussion.

Mark Ingram is the greatest thing to ever come to UaB. I will shed tears if he dare leave. But i understand the call of your home school and will wish him luck in the future.

RE: SBR: Tennesse AD to Retire
Many say "FIRE RAY WATTS" but the only ones who can do that are the ones who hired him -- and would name his replacement.
Many want Mark Ingram gone, but his replacement will be hired by the UAB President and for the foreseeable future, that is RAY WATTS.
As the state's legislature reminded all Alabama cities and counties last spring, there is no such thing in our state's system as "HOME RULE" --and that applies to UAB too.
