What is really eye-catching is that GSU is committing $200 million to this redevelopment project (UAB is so happy to have a $30 million new facility fund - even though it is 1/4 century overdue).

Depending on how they reconfigure Turner Field for football, they should have a great modern stadium in which to play and with that kind of financial backing, they may not be in the Sunbelt much longer. Since Atlanta plans to tear down the GA Dome after the Mercedes-Benz MPF is completed for the Falcons in 2017, GA State won't need it any longer either.

YES! Please hurry while UAB has a FB staff who will give us a good chance to win. After the early 2020s, GSU may have outgrown C-USA with their level of financial backing.
