I'd put most Walmart shoppers firmly in the 53% of people that get some sort of government benefit. That's who Walmart exists to serve.

Paul Manafort hangs on somehow by a thread, but Trump hires two major new people to run his campaign as he starts all over yet again in his philosophy.

Buying a campaign ad would be a start. I've seen stories that say the Green Party is out-spending him on campaign ads in certain parts of the country.

If the polls are relatively close heading into October, I think there is a reasonable chance he just abandons his campaign. I wouldn't bet my house on it, but I don't think it is out of the realm of possibility either. I just don't see the Donald wanting to spend what could be the last years of his life being told what to do by DC insiders.

I shop at Wal Mart and pull for Dale Jr. HRC gets a respectable 36 % of both. This is a non-story.

Why do both sides of this want to scream the other down about what they have no idea to be accurate or not?

Trying to talk themselves into it or trying to make the other side give up? These endless poll threads are an interesting sociology experiment.

I read that Trump just made Pence the campaign manager. I've never paid attention to campaign staffs in the past, but making the VP candidate the campaign manager seems weird to me.

If the polls get too bad for Trump it may discourage some of his supporters from showing up on election day. It is about the down ballot. I want to win the NC Governorship, get Burr out of the senate, reduce dominance of GOP in the legislature, etc. etc.
