Interesting point about the cohesion of that team. I have no idea if that is true or false regarding that 2011 team. Although I can say that the 2012 team had zero cohesion, mostly because of EJ. But I can say from personal experience and observation that most football teams, especially on the college level, are very divided into cliques. On a lot of D-1 teams, there are several groups of about 6-8 guys that hang together and many guys may never even speak to each other over a whole season. That's just how it is.

Was that the year three players were shot? Tim Green, two others. One was paralyzed. I know it was either 2011 or 2010 but can't recall which one.

An experience like that can bring a group together. I'm sure there were lots of other factors, but going through that with your teammates cant have been easy.

Thanks! I remember having Martez come back to a game, quite something to see. I wonder how they are all doing these days... anyone here heard?
