Did you even watch the players reactions to this stunt? They were having a blast. That's a team coming together. Why wouldn't he plaster it all over social media? He's trying to promote both himself and the program. If you get Sylvester Stallone to do a cameo and speak about "rowing the boat", you damn well better let as many people as possible know about it.

I agree. I mean, it's fine to razz PJ. His attitude, loudness, excitement -- sure, I can understand how it can make some folks roll their eyes. But when he's winning games and such and bringing the team on the Up on top of that -- razz him, but don't think it's Legitimately Truly stupid/silly/etc because it's him. He could be running a practice yelling & yelping, getting players' attention & firing them up -- and some people will still hate it because, well, it's him being expressive. That's the real bottom line of disdain... whether they're old-school Bill Cubit-liking WMU fans or NIU fans with disdain toward Peej. :)

No, I just know PJ and how he acts behind the spotlight. And what he was willing to do for extra attention.

I'm quite confident I could find a more qualified coach, with more inovative mechanisms to motivates their teams, that would be more deserving of my jealousy.

...but nice assessment. You on his payroll? Or just hopin Fleck has triple H or some flop give you a shootout on the jumbo?

PJ took over a team that was averaging about 6 wins a year and turned them into a 1-11 team. Now the team had a 7-5 regular season, 8 total wins with the bowl.

The only reason he gets crap on this board is people are annoyed that he's not coaching and recruiting for the Huskies. Let's face it, he would be an even bigger star as a HUSKIE!

GOD FORBID! However, if he were to ever become head coach of the Huskies (again, GOD FORBID!), it would certainly save me a lot of donation money and free up my fall Saturdays!

All I can say is why?

Could be worse Huskies. My favorite Bronco basketball player of all time, Saddi Washington, is now a coach at U of M.

And David Kool, another great Bronco guard, is a Walmart Wolverine.

I washed away all of my PJ hate when he got NIU to Detroit last year, but this simply isn't true. NIU's been a successful program through multiple coaches because it's a players program. The Fleck show is the complete opposite of that. That's not to say he won't be successful.

For the record, NIU's current coach has never lost to PJ.
