I've never seen a video where the coach didn't play a major role in the scholarship presentation. Nice touch to hand the baton over to Stallone and Gores.

FWIW Alec Gores was a walk-on, left-footed Soccer-style place kicker in 1974 (only).

Played in one or two JV games.

His brother is the owner of the Pistons.

Listen to the players, they love the "stuff" Coach Fleck thinks up!

Ending a practice with some fun, in spite of it being two-a-days.

He knows how to motivate players, and future recruits that watch that video.

Love how Fleck has brought WMU national attention even though I don't always agree with how he goes about it. Any attention is good attention!

Gores should have gone all in and built that entire end zone project.

God tools who can't see this as something cool give me a pain in the you know where. Get over your Fleck hate. Bill is long gone and the ladies who cleaned the locker room during his tenure are safe and secure. If only the facts were 1/10 as public as P/J/'s life.

I recommend you listen to PJ's interview on wmubroncos.com about this.. He sees these things as not only a necessity to show love to the walk on's who deserve scholy 's but also derives motivation from these kids to grow as a coach and staff... You guys who hate this guy are really going to miss him when he moves on...

Also, thanks to Stallone and Gores for taking time to do the short video. A real special treat. Great exposure for the program!

I think the uniform that coach Fleck was wearing was sweet, but only for a few games here or there. I like what we've done the last few years, getting back to the brown and gold. Let's keep it that way, for the vast majority of games.

As far as the uniforms... I see very little boat imagery on them, unless my eyes deceive me. I'm pleased. I hope those huge oars on the away jersey shoulders are history.

Who cares, we are getting further national exposure... Fleck may be a narcissist by every sense of the word... but damn if he isn't making efforts to get us out there amongst the big boys with regard to national media attention...

"OMG, we're popular".

They were wasted. That's how serious they took this.
