Is that true, and if so would it make AFA much more attractive than CSU if the Big XII expands by two to the west (eastern expansion not part of this discussion)?

People keep saying things like "Air Force/Navy/Army bring this huge audience", but if they actually did then why are their ratings so low and not in a power conference? Also their players, especially the linemen can't be as big as the other P5 schools. They have weight requirements for cadets.

And what audience does Rutgers bring?

The masochist demographic?

The service academics aren't P5 for a variety of reasons yet Army still has a nice contract with CBSN and 30,000+ in the stands. Not bad.

A big enough one to get a B1G invite. The service academies don't bring huge audiences and especially Army which just isn't a good football program at all. People like to say they support the academies for patriotic reasons but push come to shove they do not seem them out on their cable boxes Saturday afternoons in the fall.
