Incredible determination, work ethic, and internal fortitude to put in the incredible amount of extra work for over 2 years, with no guarantees, in order to earn that scholarship.

Great example to the rest of the team. Pretty safe bet Mr. Banham will be successful long after his football days are over.

I had always "assumed" that Blake was on scholarship, but congratulations to to Blake, real determination on display on the field and off.

As I suggested, this was, among other things, a great marketing/publicity event.

If CC recruited the way Murphy recruits and continues to market the way he does (now), CC would be the MAC's version of Jim Harbaugh...

Love or hate Harbaugh, that guy is a master at marketing, showmanship, recruiting, etc.

CC needs to show that his marketing, showmanship, etc. translates into recruiting results...

One might surmise that if some victories come the recruits will really start coming to Ypsilanti.

They just need to see the 'light at the end of the tunnel...'

There is the old 'chicken / egg' discussion and I believe some wins are the chicken which will lead to the eggs.
