You guys have ZERO reading comprehension skills. I never commented on the style they played, whether it was a good strategy or not, or even if she was correct.

It is hypocritical BS to single out Solo as some type of disgrace when she echoed the exact sentiment of nearly a dozen soccer "experts" at the Euros that complained how Portugal won. Was it about the only strategy they could've employed in a chance to win, absolutely. Is it a "cowards" way to win, yeah... if you are a soccer purist that loves the game.

Those soccer experts were not on the field and got beat by that style of play. When you get beat and come out with that crap then it is different from a bunch of experts talking.

Show me a time when a male player on the US team said something similar or worse during a similar situation. We had several US Olympians who embarrassed the US with their actions and all are playing for it male and female.

BTW Sweden came home with the Silver losing 1-2 in finals

You would be surprised how many youth coaches teach Sweden's strategy in the US. And parents go along with it. Until they go a couple of years without winning a tournament game. Then they go away.

Wonder if a another version of the Rogue could compete and survive in today's version of the NASL. It is Div II soccer so not so much cost involved in players salary. With the large increase of immigrants would be inter4esting. I know the Kingsbury soccer team only spoke Spanish to each other on the field..

He coaches my son at Midsouth Futbol Club. Great guy, although I have to have my son translate sometimes.

My son played for Memphis Futbol Club for 9 years--5 or 6 under Richard. Toni was at Fury for most of those years. Those drives to Dallas, Austin, Tampa, OKC, Atlanta and Charlotte used to clear my head. Then the flights to LA and Europe used to clear my wallet.
