Miami - 11k new season tix
Announced today. A month or so ago (I think) we had around 7 or 9,000 new season tickets. So excited to see our team back on the field with BIG crowds in the stands finally. IIRC we have sold ~30k for the last few years so adding 11k is a big step up. More than 40,000 season tickets (plus 5,000+ students) in a stadium that holds 65,000 is a nice improvement from years past!

TBH even if half our season ticket holders show up it will still be better than it was at one point a few years ago during the dark ages with Al Golden.

I expect big things from Miami going forward. Big crowds can only help that positive momentum.

History has proven that if Miami ever gets it shitt together we will all be playing for second place - and that goes for everyone.

I think / hope we will have at least 50,000 butts in seats for every game this year... FSU sold out, maybe Pitt HC too... What a time to be a Cane!

Miami has sold 39,530 season tickets, AD Blake James says on Hurricane Hotline. Had 29,000 last year.

What a great improvement. Hope we continue to build through the year. 40,000 season tickets... boy, that is nice to say.

SLEEPING GIANT

I have to say I am actually shocked we are having such a huge surge of support this year. I thought we would improve but not this much. On StubHub there were like 7,000 tickets to the FAMU opener available last week for cheap (like, $4) and I just looked and there are only 2,600 and the cheapest are $14. I am so happy. Announced attendance will be over 60,000 it sounds like for our opener since I think we announce tickets sold. What a change from Al Golden years.

If you don't have tickets to Miami-FAMU yet and plan to buy them at Hard Rock Stadium windows today, we are told only about 1,000 remain.

What a crowd. What an effort. Thought we'd win but I didn't think it would be this much of a domination even against FAMU. I'm impressed. We came to play and to win.
