Four 20 team Conferences yields an 80 team P-4. Facilitates a 4 team football playoff of conferee champions and a 64 team basketball tournament. Replqces the need for the NCAA;07-coffee3

That's pretty sinister.
But it seems that the Big 12 is having a hard time going past about #70/71....wouldn't it be better to stop at 4 x 18?

Northern Division
Boston College
Notre Dame
Syracuse
Penn State
Pittsburgh
Maryland
West Virginia
Cincinnati
Louisville
Miami

Southern Division
Virginia
Virginia Tech
North Carolina
North Carolina State
Duke
Wake Forest
Clemson
South Carolina
Georgia Tech
Florida State

Wilkie 20 is too many and I'm not sure that Maryland would be re-admitted without some management changes first.

I was glad Maryland left....Louisville is much better

Could you imagine Wilkie running college sports? There would be 40 team conferences with Appalachain State and Southern California being cross division rivals.
