Unless you win the conference Doc will not get a choice. Or is that wrong?

Depends on where you end up overall, WKU.

Champ gets first choice
runner up gets second choice..

Etc.. etc.

From what I remember its Champ gets first pick and the rest is decided by the Conference for mutual benefit of all available teams. It usually works out with one team being stuck out at the Hawaii Bowl or Bahama Bowl, which still isn't bad because that team is usually just glad to go bowling. The Eastern teams will almost always have dibs on the Florida Bowls and the Western Teams will almost always have dibs on HOD and NM Bowls.

Well I wouldn't be that concerned because Houston won't be getting the G5 access bowl. We will.

I wish you the best of luck with that and applaud your optimism. Lets just hope you can do it at 13-1!

C-USA vs. Mountain West
Rice vs. Georgia State+ (replacement team)

That's a game I might actually get to as I will probably be in Vegas to see the family for Christmas break, plus I'd be curious if GA State can sustain last years' success.

Pretty sure the C-USA opted out of that bowl. It is SBC v. MWC.

There is no choice, period. That was made clear. It says you do choose in the bylawd, but in reality, the conference office chooses. That was straight from our ADs mouth.
