RE: EMU Athletics New Bag Policy
Let's throw another hurdle in front of the last few diehard fans left.

Lord knows everyone will feel much 'safer' with this brilliant new policy.

Guaranteed to piss enough people off at the first game, they will most likely not return. Please return those dangerous seat cushions to the car before entry, and enjoy our comfy aluminum benches without back rests.

Boy, am I familiar with the NFL policy on this stuff.

Went with a female friend to a Redskins game last year. She brought a small bag.

Of course she was told she could return it to the car, BUT most folks at 'Skins games take the subway. There is no car (unlike Rynearson, Ford Field, etc. where folks drive to the game).

She hid her bag in some bushes near the stadium and fortunately it was still there after the game. I may still have photos...

Not fun.

RE: EMU Athletics New Bag Policy
Well I hope they have "approved" seat cushions and lots of them for rent at least two hours prior to kickoff. My wife isn't real happy about carrying some of the stuff in a freezer bag. The first game I predict will be a real train wreck. We have one seat cushion with no hidden pockets so I'm interested if we can actually use it this year. I haven't seen many supportive comments regarding the new policy.

BTW, I have been to Redskins and Wizards this past fall/winter.

The NFL guidelines seem much tougher.

EMU's seem more in line with the NFL.

Why not like NBA?

A few years ago I had tickets to a game but they didn't even check. It was a monsoon of a home game against UT. That's the charm in EMU and in MAC is the lack of hustle and bustle that the power five teams represent.
