Earlier today, CNN reported that the secret service had had multiple discussions with the Trump campaign about Trumps 2nd amendment statement yesterday.

As reported by Reuters, that was a lie. Reuters went straight to the secret service and the secret service denied having any formal discussion with the Trump campaign at all.

The Secret Service of the United States of America just said CNN is reporting misinformation. From the link:

CNN was taking marching orders from the DNC so is anyone really surprised how corrupt they are.

I watch CNN and they never reported an investigation of the remark. They simply reported what the Secret Service Tweeted which was that they were aware of the comments.

Yeah, one of Trump's supporters did mentioned that Trump's campaign was in contact with the Secret Service on issues, but not sure what is talked about.

Well to be fair they said that the SS had not officially contacted the Trump campaign. That leaves open the possibility that there had been multiple "unofficial" discussions. I'm just saying.

SS is somehow such an appropriate abbreviation anymore when it comes to DC.

It isn't speculation if CNN has sources confirming there were talks. Unofficial gives SS plausible deniability.
