Huge news. We will play the Bison in 18 & 19 as the #BlueHens and @NDSUfootball announce a home and home series.

I'm glad to see the CAA step up it's OOC scheduling game. JMU needs to follow if we're going to stay FCS, which is looking highly likely.

That's nice, but NDSU is no Norfolk State.

So What, JMU will likely play NDSU once, if not twice between now and 2019.

Outside of the playoffs, no, we won't. Can't imagine that NDSU would schedule more than 1 CAA East Coast team per year.

I'm confused at your post. Was it meant as sarcasm? Was it directed at those looking forward to the away game in Norfolk saying very few will be able to travel to Fargo? I think we all know those two games will be as tough to win as most FBS games we will be playing.

That's assuming we can win a home playoff game.

We've reached out to NDSU multiple times but they're rull scurred of us. Ever since we almost beat them in the Fargo Dome with Justin Thorpe at the helm. We had a home and home series with them set up and ESPN signed up for coverage of it but they got real scared they'd lose to us.

it's just impossible for the admin to ever do anything right with some of you guys.

we could have a 12 for 11 series with NDSU and you guys would ***** they got the 1 extra home game.

Exactly, that is all we (JMU) wanted a home and home deal. Evidently, NDSU felt threatened about playing in Harrisonburg at Bridgeforth Stadium......who knows would have to ask them......but that is what it looks like since they signed a home and home deal with a down UD team. They did not pursue Richmond, W&M, or NH for this deal.

They signed a home and home that would give them additional east coast exposure against the 'mighty' CAA --- read between the lines the wanted a 'safe' CAA/East Coast home and home.

I'd ***** that that is 21 games more than it should be. Good lord I don't want to play any team OOC that much unless it's VT, UVA or ODU.

It does come off as NDSU being scared if they somehow can't come to an agreement with us for a Home and Home but then lookie here, you schedule middle to low end CAA team UD instead. You wanted the guaranteed road win.

5 time defending national champs usually get their way in the scheduling department.

You take the game with the chance to shock the world. If you lose, it's a great learning experience and hey, you weren't supposed to win. Either way, you get another national audience introduced to JMU.

I don't think five time national champion North Dakota St is scared of JMU or Bridgeforth stadium. That is just silly.

Probably because they wanted to have a certain number of home games in the year they were to come to JMU.
