You used to be able to tour the Cincinnati Subway via the museum center--we went a few years back. Interesting how history may very well repeat itself...

Used to be able to break in along Central Parkway and 75 and walk the lines. Some of the old buildings in the Brighton and Mohawk areas have sealed up private entrances in their basements too. Used to be a cool way for juvenile delinquents to spend a day.

The city ended up using them to run a lot of the electric and water utilities.

The article talks about the old tours, the current condition and uses and if I'm following the locations correctly, the author and his "tour guide" trespass in exactly the area rath describes. I thought it was an interesting article with some pretty cool pics and interesting comments for anyone interested in reading it (granted it is a bit long, but reads pretty quickly imo).
