He's small, quick but not very fast. I don't think he's a lampley but I could be wrong. As a running back, to me he's a borderline D-1 player and not a real playmaker. If they make him a slot receiver, this could all change though. But from watching him I have no idea idea about his ball skills. But he's a good enough athlete that I could see him being good in the slot. Looks like we are his only offer.

I think Hopson has really bought into the whole "tough Mississippi kid" persona. Or just southern persona in general. All I can say is he better be great with his evaluations. Because we are taking chances on some kids that other people aren't willing to.

He has a few more offers from other CUSA and SunBelt teams.

Ok, the site I looked at didn't show any other offers. But I see where rivals shows a few more. Still doesn't change my Eval of him. He could be useful, but not a game changer I don't think. There's nothing wrong with that and not knocking him, just giving an honest opinion.

Good to read. Sounds like a better commit than I thought.

Tonight against South Panola: 5 catches, 117 yards, and a touchdown. Clinton won 38-26.

Sidenote: SP has now lost back-to-back games for the first time since 2001.
