Source tells me Big 12 reps are on campus at UCF today, looking around for feasibility survey. Bunch of enhancements this week, too.

There may be something to this. This came at the heals of the glowing Dennis Dodd article about UCF that came out today. Dodd said the Big12 reps were coming to visit UCF in the article. Dodd's been working hard to get the final Big12 scoop. Some think that the Big12 had Dodd put this article out to possibly build up UCF.

Despite the last year, O'Leary was a good coach, who had success at multiple schools. Frost may be good, but several coordinators have floundered as head coaches. I think a bunch of success also depends on the assistant coaches, which the article never mentions.

If they're going out to UCF then wouldn't that make 14 seem like it's in play.

Yes 14 is still in play. The Big 12 could still expand with no teams or 4 teams. It isn't known yet exactly how this is going to go. No votes have even been casted yet.

You have to give credit to UCF. They are not only pulling out all the stops to become an attractive candidate to a power conference, but also putting in all the resources necessary to become a top university as well. With their alumni and student numbers, they could be a huge force long-term in Florida. Good for them.

While I don't think UCF would be 11 or 12, if they are seen as good enough for 14, the Big XII might take BYU, Houston , Cincinnati and UCF...

I don't wanna hear about "no teams" I'll sacrifice 3 MWC schools and BYU if it was for the sake of growing the P5.

Didn't the Big12 say they didn't need to visit because the studies, research, and leg work had been done already.

This begs a couple of questions ...

1. What the hell is a feasibility survey?
2. Did they find it?

Pres. Hitt did say UCF was looking forward to a visit from the Big12.
