I dunno if I have seen or heard Trammel's stuff. Could you recap that please?

I think this is it, and I hope I did it correctly. Yep it's good.

This is a public forum. Let's avoid naming boosters and companies.

Let people figure this stuff out on their own.

From what I can gather Martin joined the board in late 2015 and Pickens was gone from Chesapeake a few years before that.

That's based on a cursory google search.

Chesapeake is NOT T. Boone Pickens' company.

True, Brad Martin is Chairman of the Board for Chesapeake.

Aubrey McClendon founded Chesapeake in the 80s. He died earlier this year in a car crash, thought to be a suicide, but I haven't kept up with any official ruling. He was part of the group that brought the Thunder to Ok. City.

T. Boone had Mesa Petroleum in his early years and for his corporate raider phase of his career, and BP Energy Fund for the last 20 years. BP might have invested in Chesapeake, but was never his company, and I don't believe BP is invested in Chesapeake now.

It appears that he owned a boatload of Chesapeake stock, but dumped it over four years ago.

I never said he was part of T Boone Pickens Company, I simply stated what I knew - I have done business with Chesapeake for more than six years now and have spoken to Brad about Chesapeake last year.

I didn't say you did. The initial post said Brad Martin sits on T Boone's company's board. Your reply said Brad was on COB of Chesapeake, but did not correct the initial post. Just wanted the board to know that Brad Martin, who I don't know but met while he was interim UM President, is not involved with T. Boone's company.

I was just letting you know the outcome of McClendon's accident investigation. I believe OU, OSU, and KU are in our corner. Not sure about KSU and Baylor...I don't think they want to share with anybody.

Oh, ok. Wow. Wasn't McClendon going like 90 MPH, no seat belt, hit the concrete underpas head on? While under SEC fraud investigation?

Regarding Kansas, I wasn't sure where they stood. They are the state univ., AAU and all that. Thought they might like down on us.

Who knows with Baylor? I think they are just praying no more bad stories come out.

Yes, he was speeding and there was not apparent braking involved. It was the morning after the afternoon that he was indicted. Still, officially ruled an accident. TFWIW.
