Other than the two years you won it you were 4th or worse every other year. So your statement should actually be completely opposite. You had more bottom half finishes than top. Just for accuracy sake.

I'd be a little nervous if I were BYU, because at least one eastern school is being added, and if you heard people with MWC experience talking, the teams did not like the late game starts, and arriving home late in the early mornings, not to mention the problems with scheduling.

If you're nervous for BYU you have to be nervous for UConn. It is expected an eastern school is going to be added. What sets BYU apart is they are best (perception, national following, fan base, market) program out there. The positives simply outweighs the negatives with BYU.

And I get the attraction to UConn. You have to give WVU a travel partner. So if it's two teams being added (for now) UC and UConn makes sense for one set of reasons, UConn & BYU makes sense for a completely different set of reasons, and UC & BYU makes sense for another set of reasons.

UC has been on a 9 year run with only 1 losing season. They had five 10+ win seasons and two of 9 and 8 wins.

I doubt that that the Jersey Guy's has many contacts at UConn. I seem to recall that most of his contacts were in the Big East schools that left. Once the Big East members left he didn't know anything that was happening in the AAC; so he has spent most of his remaining time just writing articles touting UMass for the AAC.

4th is top half in an 8 team league. I think it was pretty much even though between top half and bottom half. We don't claim to have the best football program though. It is what it is. We were competitive program and should be again.

Doesn't matter if this league loses one or two members, ESPN/TV networks can't pretend the interest now for AAC doesn't exist.

Losing four members however is were I see the AAC having difficulties increasing their already insulting tv payout.
