I don't have much respect for someone who names our qb as "Jeremy Lamb". 05-nono

You can tell he hasn't done a whole lot of research. Very broad and basic research of the teams and players.

Ol' Jeremy Football. He's fixed it now.

And I have a lot of respect for Marcus Cox and Terrence Upshaw, but nobody has better depth at RB than we do.

Oh gotcha.

I wasn't going to call you wrong, but if you want to admit to it that's ok.

RE: Paul Myerberg's (USA TODAY) Sun Belt Conference Preview
Not counting stats for Ellison/Upshaw (cause some people like to include our QB numbers in our RB numbers), we're returning 3 guys that last year averaged 6.6 ypp for 3106 yards total and 37 TD's. True freshman Wesley Fields, who was 3rd string, averaged 6.8 ypc (he had only slightly less attempts than Ellison).

Our rushing attack was #1 in the country in both total yards and yards per carry.

Of all the things to try and one-up us on, it's gonna be RB's and the run game?

Ok.

Not too terribly many backs id take over Fields going forward , and he's third string

I'm busting your chops. Y'all throw like 6 times a game. Of course you have monster rb numbers.

I thought I earned a free shot after I told an Appy y'all would beat them this year.

But just to carry on....

We return two guys over 6 YPC and 19 rushing TD's between them.

Then we toss in some fresh meat this year that should fill in the gaps ok.

Uh.. you left out the best RB on the team, Soph Jaylan Moore.

Hand on my heart, I only vaguely remember his name. I was trying to be nice but the truth is, I don't care, my team wins. We lead the nation in rushing last year; let me have most deep RB core. MOST DEEP. Don't think we won't throw a QB back there. We've done it before.

Sorry to be a chest beater, but we'll leave the "shifty quarterbacks" with their "accurate passing" to y'all, but the rushing is ours.
