Football Academics
I don't know how we stood prior to CC regarding football academics but:
Football posted the top GPA in the league for the second consecutive season, holding a 2.90 team mark, while men's golf topped the conference with a 3.57 GPA. On the women's side, soccer owned the highest GPA of the three EMU programs honored, boasting a 3.595 team GPA to claim the top spot in the MAC.
Sometimes we tend to focus on the negatives re the football program without celebrating the positives.

Way more important than wins and losses. Success in the classroom tends to mean success in life. These men and women are dedicated and hard working in all facets of their lives and I am proud of them.
