I kind of get that but if every time you try to cross the road you get hit by a car ...

Some people's bodies can't do sports even though their head wants to.

I hear ya but, hey, I'd give it another shot too...if he gets hurt again, at least he tried

But that's been every year for him. Time for him to hang up the high tops and focus full time on spending his dad's money on clothes and Selena Gomez concerts.

No sure what his dad's money has to do with the decision to keep playing basketball while he can...if he gets hurt, he gets hurt...

You know his dad is a multi-millionaire CEO, right? He's not worried about the cost of room and board.

You don't know that, but we do apparently know that Chad still accepted a scholarship from Memphis. Maybe his dad is cheap. Maybe his dad's money is not liquid. Maybe he's not really that rich. None of us know.

Because he's a college kid who has gotten big time college scholarships to play basketball and wants to keep trying until he no longer has that opportunity. Why would anyone want to deny another individual of that right?

Exactly

Not to mention, Chad drives a late model Mercedes, dresses in very expensive clothes and spends his free time attending various concerts, music festivals and athletic events across the country.

No. Not really. I'm curious where he will wind up, and who is interested.

Now that I think about it maybe he can go play with Matt Stanley at Ouachita Baptist?

RE: Chad Rykhoek
I would say that the fact that he isn't an NBA prospect would be all the more reason to keep playing, I know I would. You don't realize how much you miss a sport until you've stopped playing. Would give anything to go back and play my Soph-Sr years in college, walked on but got hurt prior to my freshman season (obviously not basketball). Play as long as you can.
