Many thing can happen along a journey of 12 games.

Ward snaps his ankle 2 games in.... UH loses a close one to Tulsa at home and the season sinks from there.

Mark it down.

At Memphis, we hope Ward plays the whole game........

your rented stadium?

Yes, how awful. Schools like Texas and OU just hate to play in 70,000 seat posh stadiums. Working out so bad for schools like USC, Temple, Miami and Pitt. 05-stirthepot

(You do get that I was making a joke, right? I'm not bragging on the ship. sheesh...)

Lets revisit this thread when you start the season 1-2 to see how much gloating you are doing.

Love seeing our haters doubling down.

First, we got no credit for beating Louisville because they were garbage (never mind the fact that they are a top 15 team coming into this year). Then we were going to lose to Tulsa because teh rivalry. Then Vandy, ZOMG SEC DEFENSE!! Then it was Cincy. Then Memphis. Then Navy. Then Temple. Then FSU.

You'll be right one day.

Yea connecticut.

13-0 in games Ward started. 0-1 in games he didn't.

If you guys had a decent QB on your roster, I'd make a similar analogy.

Details. You were getting your butts kicked while Ward was in the Memphis game. Your backup pulled it out.

Still, he started the game so he's still right. 13-0 in games Ward started.

But you gotta admit, even at Memphis' expense, that comeback win was one of those games that makes college football so great.

Cincy, Memphis, Navy, and Temple were all home games for Houston last year. This year they are all away games. It not that easy to win on the road against good teams. Navy is 18-2 at home over its last 20 games. Ask USF how much fun it was to play Navy at home.

Obviously, Memphis fg kicker only had to put it through the uprights and they win. But teh pressure!

Memphis lost its coach and QB, so they're rebuilding. Navy lost their should-have-been Heisman candidate QB. They have a great system going and are always tough to beat because of it but it remains to be seen if they don't have a massive dropoff. Temple also probably isn't as good as they were, most likely anyways while Cincy is always tough.

So it's not quite as daunting as you make it seem.
