I completely understand telling Iran they better hand over US citizens if they ever wanted a dime of the frozen assets. The problem is the sequence of events and how it was handled. Obama again negotiated from a position of weakness by not securing the release of the detainees PRIOR to making an announcement on releasing frozen assets. His 'transparent' administration can't even manage to handle a simple financial transaction without muddying the waters.

It's a matter of appearance and principle. I can understand if a liberal doesn't understand those things.

Obama is such a progressive worm... U tell the Iranian Motherfuckers...to release the hostages as a show of good faith and then we will strongly consider giving u your money back...

Personally, I'd prefer Iran to win that battle. While they may be a long way from American ideals, their culture is less extreme than that in Saudi Arabia's.
