Memphis 29th on Rivals Recruiting
Memphis moves to Rivals 29th in recruiting with two 3 star adds. Houston is 31 but Houston's composite is actually .2 higher. Houston has one 4 star and twelve 3 stars while Memphis has one 4 star and eleven 3 stars.

RE: Memphis 29th on Rivals Recruiting
Congrats on a solid class. We're still sitting on 17 commits to Memphis' 20, and I fully expect us to sign 25 this year. Herman has commented a number of times that our roster is currently low on bodies.

We will pick up at least 25, as well, according to Norvell. Maybe more.

Nice. Norvell and Frost are both already proving to be great hires.

Maybe we can change things and somehow land both Harrison Hand and Markquese Bell.

Says Rivals. No one uses Rivals anymore. I need to see 247.

But in a real sense, I follow Ole Miss because I went to grad school there. They currently have the 22nd ranked class overall and people are FREAKING out. I guess the SEC changes the scale.

If you're not top 10, you're a nobody. Just food for thought when digesting this stuff.

ECU fans love them some 247 rankings vs. all others.

Not a knock...247 just seems to rank them higher than others.

Because all our fans left scout and rivals to join 247. Most of these services are based on subscribers.

Miss is cheating train wreck. 8 Level 1 violations. Double digit number of boosters disassociated. NCAA is gonna hammer them USC reggie bush style. Freeze is in deep doo doo

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/news/suspen...45542.html

If they finish in the top 50 they should celebrate. Om is cooked, decade to recover cooked.

They got their first NOA and tunsil did his draft nightband they reopened investigations. More charges cominh, 2nd NOA.

That is not the consensus over there. They feel as though the NCAA will accept the self imposed sanctions along with a 2 game suspension of Freeze by October. Which would open the door for the Cam Akers commitment and others.

I guess playing Alabama and Florida every week changes the outlook. However, if you cheer for "one of us" and there are more P5 members ranked below you in recruiting rankings than above you; you're doing well.

Oxford is such a nice experience, I've always believed that it's a shame that its charm is wasted on a bunch of 18-22 year olds living on daddy's $. As a grad student, you possibly valued the whole experience a bit more than the average kid.

I absolutely did. I would go over to William Faulkners house (now owned by the university) and just study and hang out, realizing how special it was.

It goes back to the old saying, youth is wasted on the young.

Ok, so on 247 Memphis is 42 ECU is 64 just up from 71 and UConn is 114. What's your point?

I'm just stunned at what Norvell has done so quickly.

At the same time, I'm kind of worried about Tubby. Memphis hoops is
a program that recruits itself and our roster is dog sh!t right now. We're
about to see the shortest honeymoon period ever.

Lol they are delusional liars. Firsr it was nothing, then it was nothing under freeze, then it was 8 violations under freeze, then tunsil admits to getting paid on drsft night, boosters busted, investigation re opened. Lol. Its gonna get worse.

Black bears getting hammered.
