As embarrassing as being 0-8 vs that team? One thing I do know is that Memphis is winless vs UCF. Beating 1-AA UCF in the early 90's doesn't count. Then again, that ain't saying much either.

They just had a guy from the Sports Business Journal on the David Glenn Show in Raleigh. He mentioned UConn as the likely 4th if they go to 4. No mention of Memphis.

I think you're right. Even Bowlsby said they have all of the info. I think Blauds was tickling the keys without a full blown announcement. He may not direct connections with Big 12 schools, but surely does with UConn.

Well hopefully Fox gets another Eastern school in the coveted state of Florida.

Sure, it means we have 3 more conference titles than SEC schools like South Carolina, who have been playing football since the 1800's. Why don't you go over to their board and claim that UCF has a better football program than they do.

We're a perennial basketball school that has just recently decided to invest in football. I think we're doing pretty well in such a short period of time. I don't mind UCF, you guys are ok with me, but I don't understand where all your chest thumping is coming from. Lol

A quick Google search would help you out. Memphis has been a member of a conference for only 31 years out of our 104 year football history... That means that there was absolutely no way that we could have won a conference championship for 73 of our seasons. I would say that 5 conference titles in 31 years isn't terrible.

Putting our crap season as a separate topic, how do you only have 5 conference titles? We have 4 and we have only been conference since the early 2000's. Already a BCS win too.

We were independent for a loooong time.

The desire for the ACC is not that serious. If they call UCONN, I'm sure we'll listen but we are not going to jeopardize an invite from the B12 by trying to leverage it into getting the ACC to act.
