Double Tree N. Redington Beach.

Wanted to get as close to the beach as possible. Knock back beers on my balcony, hear the Gulf when I go to bed. 03-cloud9

I only stay in cheap, tawdry gay hotels in seedy neighborhoods. Can anyone with experience make a recommendation?

RE: USF game
Seriously for those going to game.
- La Teresta within walking distance of Raymond James has excellent Cuban cuisine & Cuban sandwiches.
- Cigar City Brewing is within walking distance to RayJay and they always have a great taplist and you can check if any food trucks will be there.
- Closest thin crust pizza to Chicago pizza is Paul's pizza in Clearwater and it is excellent.
- Hooters (#2 location back in the eightys) is NW of stadium on Hillsborough Ave. I used to work just kittycorner and spent a lot of money there.
- The dessert room at Bern's steak house is a great experience for dessert and after dinner drinks. Steaks and wine downstairs are good also.
- If you are a big Cub fan, Joe Maddon's restaurant, Ava is near downtown in Hyde Park area. Not highly rated on Tripadvisor.

Staying at Tampa Stadium Hotel. Was only a mile or two from the stadium when i looked it up. Then spending 4 days in Orlando after the game.

If there is a Huskie meetup or tailgate i'm down.

The USF game would sure change a lot of perspectives on the season if NIU were to pull the upset.

Again, we find a common ground to agree upon MD! USF is a stacked team this year, if the Huskies go into their house and smack them up, it will be a huge statement to the CFB world for this year

It would be for sure, USF is a quality team but I would see it as a big win mainly because of NIU's perceived shortcomings going into the year (which may very well be legitimate shortcomings).

Reminder that the Rockets beat the AAC East Champ Temple in Boca Raton Bowl and the Huskies beat UT just a few games before. A NIU win is not out of the question.

Not saying we won't win, just showing once again what we already know. USF is going to be a very tough game for us.

not sure what those shortcomings are. The coaches think this will be one of our better teams, but have to play every play and stay healthy. MD I think you look forward to us losing.

I'm so excited for this game. Can't wait to see how the huskies stack up against another power G5 team. Time to redeem ourselves from the Bouse debacle.

It's been awhile since NIU has been this thin on both lines
