Elmore can run the floor and jump plus is 6'8" and can really shoot the ball. Callahan was a really good player for UNCW and UNCW won in the NCAA tourney. He's a good get and will help this year without question. If you can step out and have anything near the hole offensively and are willing to learn....you will help.

If Elmore can defend and rebound he will help and if not it could be a long year for him. He is not a great athlete-his strength is in scoring. I can't remember the last time a freshman big played a big role here. I would caution about asking to much from him early on. The guards on this team will have to rebound and keep their guy out of the lane on the drive. They have a very strong backcourt and I think they can win playing small in the CAA.

I tend to agree with Mullet here. I'm going in with low expectations for any freshmen big. It's just to hard for them to adjust to the game in the first two years. Callahan was an all-time great but I don't think he saw the floor as a freshman. If Elmore is ready to contribute 10-15 minutes then this team is going to be tough.
