Buddy Stephens could give a sh*t less about the players. I wonder how many come back to visit him ?

The running back who ended up at West Georgia ran his mouth about as much as the head coach.

The DC seemed like a pretty good dude, along with the DL coach.

He reminds me of the coach from the movie Varsity Blues where the coach is more concerned in winning his next district tile/state championship than he is in the well being of his players.

I just started watching this show last night and jumped to season 2.....

how in the world did the kid (DL) that was originally playing at Louisville make the grades to play for FAU? If this kid can get a passing grade in college something is wrong.

There is one kid talking to a an FCS recruiter (Southeastern Louisiana I think). The recruiter says "What can we do to get you to come to us?" The kid says on camera "I want my number." The recruiter says "no problem what else?" The kid says "I can't say because there are cameras." The recruiter flat out said "I know what you're talking about and we follow all NCAA regulations and will not comply with that request by any means." I was floored.

It's a pretty intense and really interesting docu-series.

Wow. I plan on watching now. Didn't realize it was that real.

RE: OT: Netflix's Last Chance U
I found it interesting that the players are no longer getting P5 offers. Looks like the series revealed the truth that there might be 1 or 2 a year that will actually pan out at their school. The finale showed this with UAB calling Wagner asking for advice on handling DJ Law and Ronald Ollie not having a place to play this year after having a great year at Nicholls, including a strong game against UGA. Add in that everybody but the DL coach bailed and it looks like the jig is up at Scooba Tech.

What options does Ollie have now ? D2 or NAIA ?

I don't understand. If the Ollie kid had a great year, why does he need another place to play?

He left on his own, I think.

Said he wasn't happy at Nicholls. Kinda acted like he thinks he "deserves" to be at a P5 school.

Was just about to post the same! Dude had all the talent in the world, but was a loose cannon with a horrible attitude.
