Question, say Texas did leave the Big 12 but everyone else stayed. Would the conference still not be P5 caliber?

Point is, people say if Texas leave the conference is doomed. Texas seems to do more harm for the Big 12 than good.

TCU, WVU, Cincy, Memphis, OSU, Houston, ECU

Division B

Baylor, TX Tech, KU, KSU, ISU, BYU, OU

Texas fans are entitled as they come, and it's exactly why they haven't been good at football for some time. Recruits think all they have to do is show up to and because they're Texas they'll win. I'd love to have seen their fan reactions the first time art Briles beat them or when TCU beat them.
