No WKU fan has said we was getting a invite, we are only here to defend the trash getting throw out at us. While we don't have the football history that ECU has, we do have a strong football program but lack market and fans base at this moment. WKU has continued to have a strong basketball program and has always been competitive with just about anybody on any giving year. We just don't understand why some ECU fans feel the need to act like they are Bama or Gods gift to football and continue to bad mouth WKU. I would have loved to met of the field or court this past few years

Unfair to say WKU lowered the CUSA value. Fair to say they are the higher cream of CUSA with Marshall and USM. Not saying they would be the right pick for the American but there is much worse.

I've not seen any WKU fans comparing WKU against ECU? If anything it's the other way around. I agree ECU gets the glory of the current tv deal the AAC has, but so does the rest of the AAC . I would like to see a on the field / old school settle the score battle between the two schools. Basketball and football. Who's the better team and not who got more more because of the conference they are in. Heck.... Vandy blows any the AAC team tv deals.... But they still are the beating child of the SEC most years

We in the AAC argue and point fingers at each other all the time, but when outsiders come over here and start throwing sh!t at our members, we'll then come together as one. We will not get a invite. Never said nor thought we would. I have no problem with the teams in CUSA or being in CUSA other than Some programs have been really down. I'm really happy to see USM rebounding after the hell they have been through, now some others need to step up and stop being FBS bottom dwellers which lowers the overall value that could be. every conference has teams with down years, but the amount of teams that have been down is way out of control in CUSA.

Taking upstarts really hurt CUSA. Charlotte, ODU, FIU and FAU have no history in football. Waiting for them to do just something, plus having regular programs down is a big blow to the conference.

Would have been much better taking on App State and GA Southern. Let some of the others earn it in the SBC instead.
