Good analysis with highlights and breakdown from all five schools on the list.

Marshall and So Miss are both on the list.

I think knowing that you have to win the conference to get the access bowl precludes us from being that high. We will likely drop at least one CUSA game, even if we happen to beat both Louisville and Pitt, which is no small order. The way the top of CUSA is, dropping even one conference game could easily cost the division title, which keeps us out of contention for the Access by default.

It's another year of having to go undefeated to get in even with our schedule, and as we've seen it's extremely difficult. If Louisville is our only loss, we might stand a chance depending on if they stay a top ten team and what other competing schools do. Likely all of the top G5 will have a loss to a good P5, so best and only chance will be to run the table, for us.

I don't know. If the only game we lost (same goes for So Miss) happened to be a CUSA game, then we would be right in the thick of things.

Beating Louisville and Pitt would be huge for us. I think beating those two would give us some wiggle room on a conference loss.

You missed my point. You have to win the conference to get the access bowl. I'm saying if we drop a conference game we likely won't win the division, which means we won't win the conference, which means we can't get the access bowl. WKU, Marshall, and MTSU are going to be in a tight race (if not more schools than that). Any CUSA loss could easily throw the losing team immediately out of contention.

Ahhhh, you are correct. I completely missed the point lol.

I think WKU is going to see a significant drop this season.

MTSU is the team I am worried about. I think one of the F_U twins will finish ahead of WKU.

ODU and Charlotte are just glorified FCS games at this point.

He could have at least called us "FBS-lite". He very much dislikes us, but not enough to deride us creatively. Clearly we need to work harder.

He said FCS games, not teams, meaning the results of our matchups with ODU have been similar to our results with matchups against FCS. I will add that it hasn't been that long ago that Marshall got bit in the ass by an FCS team.

Your program has done well, imo, but you haven't done much against us, so far. That could all change in any season, though.

Won't be this season unfortunately. But it should be closer

I would not count AppSt for this years access bowl. There is a very good chance that they could be the Sun Belt Conference Champs. I could see them going 8-0 in the conference and either 11-1 or 10-2 overall.

Since Marshall joined C-USA, last season is the only year the champion didn't have a conference loss.

The highlight he chose to use was when Marshall was down 19-7 in the third to Kent State.

I'm feeling optimistic, I think we'll be markedly better this year but we're still not going to be challenging for the east title. We'll be underdogs to Marshall but if thier players start thinking like some of their fans they could get punked.

I like ODU. I have obviously grown tired of the ODU fans with the AAC pimping, but I still like ODU and happy to share a conference with you.

I didnt say you were an FCS team, I said this was a glorified FCS game.

As Muther stated, I was referring to the outcome of the game. Yes we did get beat by New Hampshire a while back, but that was during the dark years of Mark Snyder.

I say pimp away because that would be the best case scenario for CUSA losing either ODU or Charlotte. Basketball would be a lost but nothing compare to losing USM or Marshall

I think it will be two Big 12 adds BYU and Cincy

I don't even know what that means. These kids today with these sayings and pictures.....

I do know ODU has 0 winning seasons, 0 bowls and 0 Conference basketball championships since joining CUSA.
Meanwhile Tech has had back to back bowl and 9 win seasons, 2 CUSA regular season basketball Championships and an appearance in the NCAA baseball regionals
