Additional O-line depth
Looks like we got a R-Sr transfer OG from UConn by the name of Zach Rugg. Came in sometime after UConn's Spring Game and mid July. Listed as 6'4, 308. Says he played in 5 games over his career at Connecticut. Was a 3 star recruit.

A good get at a position we needed some quality depth and size.

I saw his name on the roster. My guess is he graduated from UConn (where he was an honor roll student), and may be transferring in as a graduate student.

I think you're correct. Played 4 games as a R-Fr in 2013. He contended for a starting job back in camp of 2014. http://www.theuconnblog.com/2014/7/31/59...epth-chart
(It didn't happen and he also didn't play at all). Been kind of a non factor since. Probably an amicable agreement between their coach and him. And he gets a grad year paid for w/ reasonable chance at playing time.
